Technical Artist (m/f/d) 

 

Location: On site – Munich office 

As a VFX artist and scripter, you will be a key member of our cross-disciplinary team, bridging the gap between art and coding. You will create stunning visual effects, write custom scripts, and manage the asset integration pipeline to bring our game worlds to life. Collaborating closely with game designers, artists, and developers, you will constantly refine the visuals and user experience by playing and analyzing our games.

 

Your feedback will be invaluable in ensuring that our games meet the highest standards of visual excellence.

Your profile

​

  • Proficient in Unreal Engine 5 and asset integration  

  • Highly experienced with animations & particle systems 

  • Experience with shaders, material setup, lighting, and post-processing 

  • Experience with performance optimization techniques 

  • Attention to detail and aesthetic sense 

  • Worked on at least one commercial game project (released)  

  • Good communication skills 

  • Good German and English language skills 

Nice to have

​

  • Basic coding knowledge 

  • Capability to write tools  

  • Experience with Blender, Substance Painter, Photoshop or other artistic tools  

  • Experience with procedural generation (levels/assets/particles, in-engine/Houdini/Blender) 

  • Comfortable with Git, JIRA and Confluence
